Beginner Handstand Workshop
Learn the fundamentals of holding a handstand, do a complete handstand workout, and learn how to continue your handstand practice after the workshop.
Suitable for beginners who can hold a handstand against a wall and intermediates who want to improve their handstand consistency.
Date: Sunday, February 26th, 2023
Time: 8:15am – 10:15am
Location: Airhouse Kelowna, 730 McCurdy Rd
Cost: $60 per person or $100 for a pair. Complete purchase through PayPal or Etransfer.
Prerequisites: Must be comfortable holding a handstand against a wall. Must be 17+ to attend.
What You’ll Need: A water bottle, yoga mat, and tight-fitting clothing that won’t be in the way when you’re upside down.
Waiver: If you’ve never been to Airhouse, please create an account and sign the waiver.
Coach: Hey, my name is Summer; I’m a self-taught hand balancer, so I know what it’s like to learn how to handstand with zero gymnastics or bodyweight fitness experience. Over the years, I’ve worked up to handstand push-ups, handstand presses and various handstand skills. Now, I’m on a mission to help you get started in hand balancing and calisthenics to create a movement practice that keeps you fit and mobile for life.
